But for the Grace of God

Fri Feb 20, 2015

Editor: The Bible says that any man/woman in Christ is a new creation. A few years ago I was listening to Nice Radio and there was a young lady giving her testimony. As she unfolded her life story, I felt good to know that with God nothing is impossible, once you put your trust in Him. During that radio programme a lot of people called in to give support to that young lady.{{more}} Then time passed and I heard nothing about her. Lo and behold on January 20th, 2015, I saw her in the SEARCHLIGHT newspaper with an article captioned “Former drug addict graduates from UWI.” That lady was none other than Ms Lineth “Girlie Cupid Jackson. I was so happy when I remember that the Bible also says that the angels of the Lord rejoice over one sinner that comes to repentance.

My dear sister, you have a great testimony that will go a long way. God is going to use you mightily once you avail yourself for His use. I want to let you know that a lot of people would want to see you for who you were, but God sees you for who you are. I encourage you to keep reaching higher, for with God not even the sky is the limit. Many of us are who we are today, but for the grace of God. Remember God has removed your sins as far as the east is from the west, never to remember them anymore.

Those of us who are in the process of seeing your life changed by the power of God, we rejoice with you and will be praying for you that God will strengthen you day by day, so that you can live a Godly life in this present evil world. Congratulations!
