As I enter into another year,
I have to pause for a while,
To give thanks to my Father,
For blessing me, His child;{{more}}

So many blessings He has bestowed on me,
And sometimes, I forget to say,
Thank you Lord for those blessings,
You bestowed on me each day.

I thank you for the breath of life,
You breathe in me each day.
And for good health and strength,
So I can go to work day after day.

Thank you for the meals you have provided,
So my family and I can have something to eat.

Thank you for clothes and shelter,
And shoes to put on my feet;
I thank you for my love ones,
For my friends and family.

But most of all I thank you,
For sending Christ, to die for me;
I cannot do anything of myself,
On you I always have to depend.

Thank you Lord for always being there for me,
Right down to the very end….
