My Own Dear Dad Dennis

He was always quick to understand
He always lend a helping hand
He shared my problems and my play
And helped me many times a day.

He believed in me when others doubt
He was a loyal pal and a grand old scout.
All that I am and hope to be
All that is good that happened to me
I owe it to my own dear dad.

So how can I say thanks
For the things he has done for me
Things so undeserved yet he gave,
To prove his devoted love for me.
The voices of a million Angels
Could not express my gratitude.

All that I am and ever hope to be
I owe it all to my dear dad
To God be the Glory for the things he has done.

I love you daddy
From his blessed daughter
