ZHTF marks 10-year milestone aimed at eliminating hunger in SVG
The Zero Hunger Trust Fund (ZHTF) marked a significant milestone on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, hosting its 10th anniversary media launch at the NIS conference room in Kingstown, St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG).The non-profit organisation, which is committed to ensuring food sustainability and ending hunger in
SVG, was established in 2016 and has spent the past decade supporting and donating to various schools organisations across the country. Over the ten years, the ZHTF has positioned itself as a key stakeholder in strengthening food security and promoting sustainable livelihoods nationwide.
Speaking at the media launch, Director/CEO of the ZNTF, Safiya Horne-Bique, unveiled a calendar of activities scheduled for April 2026, as part of the anniversary celebrations. The organisation will be celebrating under the theme, “10 Years of Impact: Positioning for the Decade of Systems Transformation,” utilising the slogan, “10 Years – Impact Built to Last.”
Horne-Bique, said the month of activities aims to “promote awareness and public engagement to raise national interest and awareness of hunger issues, nutrition, sustainable food system and livelihoods while inspiring citizens participation”.
