Lotto pays out record PLAY-4 Jackpot
For the first time in St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), a cheque for $EC 499,200 was handed over a winner in the PLAY-4 game run by the National Lotteries Authority, the NLA.
Belair resident Andrew Williams, yesterday, Thursday, January, 8 2026, received his cheque for this amount at the headquarters of the National Lotteries Authority in Paul’s Avenue, Kingstown.
Williams, who bought the ticket with the winning numbers- 9,7,7,8- in Belair said he has been playing those same numbers for more than two years.
He expressed gratitude to the NLA, and thanked God, saying the funds…”will definitely go a long way”.
While Williams won the near $500,000 jackpot, he is not yet sure what he wants to do with his money.
General Manager of the NLA, McGregor Sealey, said, “We have had a very good year [2025], and I look forward to that same support in coming years”.
