Dauphine resident accused of theft

A 44-year-old woman of Dauphine has been accused of theft and will appear in court to answer the charge.

The police said in a release that on January, 7 2026 they arrested and charged Morissa McKenzie with the offence of theft.

The police allege that between August 31, 2023, and April 26, 2025, the accused stole $EC28,910.00, the property of a 76-year-old retiree of Dauphine. The offence is alleged to have been committed in Dauphine. McKenzie is expected to appear before the Serious Offences Court to answer the charge.
