John promises skills training programmes in South Windward Schools

New Democratic Party (NDP) candidate for the constituency of South Windward, Andrew John, noting the absence of a technical institute in the area, is vowing to remedy this situation.

Speaking at a meeting of the NDP in New Prospect on September, 14, 2025, John said the people of South Windward have been taken for granted and they need serious people to look after their affairs.

“I am putting it to you tonight, that Andrew John is the man for this constituency,” the NDP candidate declared.

John outlined some of his plans for the constituency, including ensuring there is skills training in schools.

He said that by Form 3, students should be competent in at least one skill.

The former educator also spoke of the absence of a technical centre in South Windward.
