New Port to be opened on October 24- PM Gonsalves

The modern port in Kingstown is expected to be handed over to the government just before this country celebrates its 46th anniversary of political independence on October 27, 2025.

Speaking on NBC radio on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, Prime Minister, Dr Ralph Gonsalves, said the port is expected to be delivered on October 24.

“The contractor tells me they going to deliver it to us on October 24.”
