Gorse accident victim to be buried on August 30

THE YOUNG WOMAN who died in an accident along the Gorse Public Road on August, 1,2025, Emancipation Day will be laid to rest on Saturday, August 30,2025.

Annette Huggins died after the vehicle in which she was travelling ran off the road in the area of Gorse.

The funeral service for the mother of two, will take place from 2:00 p.m at the Owia Pentecostal Church, with viewing scheduled to begin at noon.

Following the service, Huggins will be buried at the Owia cemetery.

She was originally from Owia, but had been living in Sandy Bay at the time of her death. Huggins, who worked in the hospitality sector, was returning home from work on the evening when she met her demise.
