Three young adults on separate assault charges, granted bail

A 29-year-old self-employed man of Arnos Vale, pleaded not guilty to a charge of assault when he appeared at the Family Court on July 16, 2025. Omrie John entered a not guilty plea and was granted bail.

The police said in a release that John was arrested on July, 15, 2025, and charged with the offence of assault.

He is alleged to have assaulted an 18-year-old resident also of Arnos Vale by hitting her on the right side of her face with his hands, causing actual bodily harm. The offence is alleged to have been committed in Arnos Vale on July, 7, 2025.

John was granted bail in the sum of EC$2,500 with one surety when he appeared in the Family Court. The matter was adjourned to October 14, 2025.
