Vincentian storyteller/comedian launches Children’s Book

Collin Butler, a Vincentian storyteller and comedian, who resides in the Virgin Island, has launched a Children’s book, ‘Island Adventure: Caribbean Tales’.

The book was officially launched on June 8, 2025, at Fischer’s Cove Beach Hotel in Virgin Gorda.

It was published in February, 2025, by Heminghway Publishers.

Butler said the book is a collection of stories which celebrate the beauty, folklore and life lessons of the Caribbean islands and includes tales which are set in 29 different Caribbean islands.

Through his work, Butler seeks to “ignite joy, cultural pride and environmental stewardship across the Caribbean”.

He said he hopes that the book inspires children in the region to “cherish their roots” and the “wonders of the Caribbean”.
