McDonald, age 26, is charged with the fatal cutlass attack on Ronaldo Adams which occurred in Glen around 11:30 pm on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.
Adams sustained multiple chop wounds about his body following an altercation. He was transported to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital by individuals at the scene, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

“The community response to this incident was shocking. We witnessed the vandalism of properties as a direct response to this killing.
We urge members of the general public that they ought not to engage themselves in any sort of vigilante justice … we are the organization charged with the responsibility for investigating crimes in St Vincent and the Grenadines. People ought to comply with the laws … and cooperate with the police.”
ASP Bailey added, “the information you have channel it to the police.”
McDonald is expected to be arraigned at the Serious Offences Court on Monday, May 19, 2025. Due to the indictable nature of the offence, he will not be required to enter a plea at this stage.
The matter will proceed to a preliminary inquiry before being forwarded to the High Court for trial.
