Five dead in one week after Belmont triple homicide

A fatal shooting which occurred on Friday, May 16, 2025 has claimed the lives of three people and injured at least two others.

The shooting took place at a shop in Belmont around 9 pm leaving a business woman and two male customers dead.

SEARCHLIGHT understands that a number of those shot were hit during the cross fire and were not the intended target of the shooting.

The two males killed are Dameon Cumberbatch and Joel Browne. The woman is Lesline Davis.

This week in St Vincent and the Grenadines has been a bloody one following two deaths on Tuesday and Thursday.

On May 13, business owner Stephen King was gunned down at his Green Hill home and on May 15, Glen resident, Ronaldo Haynes, was chopped to death allegedly over a dispute regarding plumrose.
