Evesham man in court today on malicious wounding charge

A 25 year old labourer of Evesham is due to appear at the Magistrate’s Court in Mesopotamia today June 14, 2024, charged with the offense of malicious wounding.

Breni Alexander was charged on June 11, 2024, with unlawfully and maliciously wounding a 56 year old labourer also of Evesham by beating him about the body with an unknown object, a police release states.

The offence is alleged to have been committed on December 12, 2023, at Evesham. When Alexander first appeared in court he was granted station bail in the sum of EC 2,000 with one surety, and will be back in court today to answer to the charge.
