Travelsavers concludes leadership networking in SVG

After four days at the St Vincent Sandals Resort, TRAVELSAVERS Canada closed its Leadership Networking 2024 event on May 29.

“Hosting our leadership networking event was the perfect setting for agency partners to learn about and celebrate our successes,” senior vice president, and general manager of TRAVELSAVERS Canada, Jane Clementino is quoted as saying in an agency release.

“Agency owners, both established and new, were able to network with our leadership team. We were thrilled to announce that we have experienced incredible growth over the past 18 months,” she added. TRAVELSAVERS, established in 1970, is described as an entity that helps travel agencies grow their businesses and is said to have experienced 95 % growth in 2023.

Forty select attendees, including seasoned and recently transitioning agency owners, agency owners, tourism board representatives and special guests were among the first travellers to experience the brand new all-inclusive resort, Sandals in Buccament Bay, St Vincent, the 18th property in the brand’s luxury resort portfolio when it opened two months ago in late March 2024.

“What an incredible opportunity to introduce the TRAVELSAVERS Canada team, including some of their top agency owners – many of whom are also top sandal and beach producers – to this hidden gem of a destination. There is no substitute for seeing, touching, tasting and feeling all that Sandals Saint Vincent and the Grenadines has to offer its guests,” said Maureen Barnes-Smith, vice president, Sales and Marketing Canada, Unique Vacations Canada Inc. (subsidiary of Sandals Resorts Global Representatives).

“We are confident that this journey will be mutually beneficial and we look forward to strengthening our sales and marketing.” (Travel Pulse)
