Rubis makes donation to Petersville School

Rubis has donated a quantity of supplies to the Petersville primary school comprising backpacks, books, ink, printing paper, a printer, and laptop to assist in their educational pursuits.

The donation, made on April 25, 2024, by the petroleum company was done in recognition of Petersville as a pioneering private school which offers quality education to children of the nation being at a critical juncture where support is needed, a release from Rubis states. The school which celebrates its 60th anniversary next year, was founded by Edna Peters and is now led and managed by Roselyn Peters.

“We believe in investing in the future generation,” the release quotes Rubis country representative, Elroy Edwards as stating. He said the donation signifies a strong partnership between Rubis and schools across St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). “We are proud to support Petersville Primary School with the necessary resources to facilitate learning and academic excellence. “This a testament of our continued support to education in St. Vincent & the Grenadines.”

Edwards added that making such donations not only helps the school but is paramount to the success of students. Deputy headteacher of Petersville, Elizabeth Kelly expressed gratitude noting that “…printing materials is very expensive therefore, your contribution will go a very long way in assisting both students and teachers”.
