Police Constable to be accorded full military funeral today

The Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force said the late Police Constable Robbin-Jah Spencer is being accorded a full military funeral today.

The police officer, who died by drowning on March 17, 2024, in an area between Brighton Bay and Salt Pond Beach referred to as ‘the deep’ will be buried today, Friday April 5, 2024, at the Kingstown Cemetery after his funeral service at the Kingstown Baptist Church.

Spencer’s body will lie at the church for viewing at 10:00 a.m and the funeral service begins at 1:00 a.m.

The late Constable was enlisted in the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) on December 12, 2012 and loyally served the organization and the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) for 11 years, the police said in a release. At the time of his death, PC 849 Spencer was stationed at the Narcotics Unit where he spent most of his policing career. He also worked on Beat and Patrol, and the Special Services Unit (SSU).

The acting Commissioner of Police Enville Williams, and all other ranks of the RSVGPF have extended condolences to the family and friends of the late Police Constable.
