New Justices of the Peace sworn in

Eleven Justices of the Peace were sworn in Monday March 11, 2024 at the Government House, each taking their oath of allegiance and oath of Office.

Governor General, Dame Susan Dougan expressed pleasure that the new Justices of the Peace have accepted this task noting that they are not only called to serve St. Vincent but “to serve the entire country”.

The Governor General, while outlining their roles urged the new Justices of the Peace to take these roles seriously.

She said based on her observations, she knows they would serve their country well.

The 11 Justices of the Peace are drawn from various geographical areas on the mainland as well as in The Grenadines.

The new JP’s are: Jillian Premadona Alexander-Lewis, Canouan; Terry Andre Ollivierre, Canouan; Benjamin Eian Wilson, Union Island; Glenice Maria Alexander, Union Island; Naaman Ken James, Union Island; Anita Carolina Wilson, Mayreau; Esrene Alithea Roache, Mayreau; Nellie Gwendolyn Clarke-Trent, Rockies; Danroy Orlando Ballantyne,   Cane End; Jeshanah Dewris Davis,    Georgetown; and Frederick Augustus Browne, New Grounds (API).
