The Gender Affairs Division within the Ministry of National Mobilisation, Social Development, Family, Gender Affairs, Youth, Housing and Informal Human Settlement has concluded a series of training activities in commemoration of International Women’s Day (IWD).

The March 4-7, 2024, activities aimed to facilitate discussions on effective strategies for promoting women’s advancement and fostering a more inclusive and equitable society, a release from the Division states. By providing a platform for dialogue and collaboration, the activities are geared to encourage networking among participants and establish a robust community of support for women’s empowerment. International Women’s Day is being observed across the globe today Friday March 8, 2024, under the theme: “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress.”
