Standard Caribbean Shipping donates to Police Christmas Carolling Contest

Standard Caribbean Shipping Inc (SCS) has again partnered with the Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) to ensure the successful hosting of the Police Christmas Carolling Contest.

On December 7, Alwyn “Ali” Munro, a representative from Standard Caribbean Shipping Inc. handed over 11 trophies to Assistant Commissioner of Police, Trevor Bailey and members of the Police Christmas Caroling Contest Organizing Committee in the Police Conference Room.

The trophies will be awarded as prizes to the winners in the various categories of the contest.

Munro said that Standard Caribbean Shipping Inc. is pleased to give back to the community that supports the business.

“The Police Christmas Caroling Contest is an event that the public and Standard Caribbean Shipping Inc. look forward to every year. We have been sponsoring the trophies for the competition over the years and this year, we have increased the amount to eleven”, said Munro.

Assistant Commissioner of Police, Trevor Bailey thanked Munro for the donation and the fruitful relationship between the RSVGPF and SCS Inc. over the many years.

The 2023 Police Christmas Carolling Contest is scheduled to take place on Friday, December 15, at the Central Police Station commencing at 7:00 p.m. This year’s event will be held under the theme: “Police Christmas Caroling. It’s a family thing”.
