Bequia resident wins $275,000 in Super 6

Simon Forde, a 56-year-old Paget Farm, Bequia resident, has 275,000 reasons to smile after claiming a portion of the Super 6 jackpot.

Forde’s winning ticket was purchased from Grenadine Sail in Bequia and he is the local winner of the $550,000 jackpot with the other winner coming from Grenada.

1, 13, 23, 24, 25 and 26 were the numbers that landed Forde the big money haul. The cheque was presented to Forde on Wednesday, July 19, at the National Lottery Authority (NLA) in Kingstown and the chauffeur by profession said he was more than happy about the win.

NLA Manager, McGregor Sealey congratulated Forde and advised him to use his winnings wisely. He noted it has been some time since a jackpot winner has come from the Grenadines, adding ticket sales from the Grenadines continues to be “very significant”.
