CARDI employee, Gregory Linton died from a shot to his head

Investigators here are looking into several theories that may have led to the death of Dominican, Gregory Linton.

According to police reports, Linton’s decomposing body was found in a blue Toyota Hilux parked outside the Kingstown Preparatory School (KPS) on Monday, June 19, and an autopsy revealed that he died of a single gunshot to the head.

Reports also claim that his license firearm is missing.

There are also reports that the man who reported that Linton was in the vehicle outside the KPS had been detained in relation to the shooting, but was later released. Up to the time of going to press, no one had been charged in connection with the country’s 23rd homicide.

Linton, the father of two teenaged children, was the Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute’s (CARDI) representative in St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG).

CARDI said the news of Linton’s death was unbelievably shocking and they were deeply saddened.
