THE MINISTRY OF Transport,Works, Lands and Physical Planning is preparing to undertake reconstruction work on the Lauders culvert and motorists and other users of this areas of public road have been re-routed.

A release from the ministry said that as of Tuesday, May 30, vehicular traffic has been re-routed to use a temporary bypass bridge. Road users are asked to be extremely cautious when using this temporary bridge because it is a single lane pass; and pedestrians are asked to use the designated pedestrian bridge for their safety.

The reconstruction work is being done in the area of the old community centre and will be ongoing in the upcoming months, the ministry said.

It has apologised for inconveniences caused by these changes.
