Two dead and two injured in separate shooting incidents over the weekend

The police say they have launched investigations into three separate shooting incidents that occurred on Saturday, September 3, and Sunday, September 4, 2022, in Ottley Hall and Cane Hall. As a consequence, two men are dead, one is warded at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital (MCMH) reportedly in stable condition, and another was treated and discharged.

The police said in a release that Mosiah “Siah” Westfield, a 30 year old labourer of Ottley Hall was shot multiple about his body and was pronounced dead at the scene by the District Medical Officer (DMO); while Isiah Carter, a 19 year old labourer also of Ottley Hall sustained a gunshot wound to his stomach. He was taken to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital for medical attention where he subsequently died.

In a separate incident in Cane Hall on Saturday, September 3, Tommy Grecia, a 39-year-old male of Villa received multiple gunshots about his body and was taken to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital for medical attention. He is reportedly in stable condition.
On Sunday, September 4, Dwayne Davy, a 32 year old unemployed man of Ottley

Hall sustained a gunshot wound to his body. He sought medical attention at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital where he was treated and discharged.

In the release issued on September 5, the police said the circumstances surrounding the shootings were not yet known but investigations are ongoing.

Crimes Unit at: 1-784-456-1810; or any police station or police officer they feel comfortable speaking with. All information received would be treated confidentially.

The two deaths have taken the homicide count for the year to 30.
