Another phase of work at Black Sand Resort set to being in July

Five years after breaking ground, work on another phase of the Black Sand Resort is expected to get going in July.

Providing a brief update on NBC Radio on May 25, prime minister, Dr Ralph Gonsalves said he met on May 22 with the developers of the project that is being constructed at Peters Hope.

He told listeners that the 10 villas which are under construction are about 60% complete.

Each villa will contain five rooms and the hotel will have 200 rooms .

He said a further meeting with the developers is planned for June.

The development, which broke ground in 2017 is being done by PACE Development from Canada.
