Brewery in support of Problem Child

SHERTZ “PROBLEM Child” James has received the support of the St. Vincent Brewery Limited for his performance in tonight’s finals of the International Soca Monarch competition in Trinidad and Tobago (T& T).

Last Friday February 7, the Brewery said it made a monetary donation to help James prepare for the competition.

Problem Child will perform “Nasty Up”, a song described by one media house in T& T as, “one of the bigger songs on the night.”

Marketing Co-ordinator at the St. Vincent Brewery Limited, Kelvin Franklyn, said the contribution is part of their continued support to culture in St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG).

He said, like many Vincentians, the Brewery is proud of James’s achievement and it was a proud moment for them to make the monetary contribution.

“We would like to wish Problem Child all the best in his quest to become the International Soca Monarch. He is representing SVG well and we know he will do great in the finals,” said Franklyn.

The Brewery said the support to ‘Problem Child’ is just another of its contribution to culture; last year it said it made a huge input into Vincy Mas supporting all the components of the festival and also provided support to numerous private carnival events.
