RSVGPF members celebrate 25 years of service

Four members of the Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) celebrated 25 years’ service in the organization on Sunday, July 15, 2018.

The officers who have achieved this milestone are Inspector Junior Simmons, Head of the Public Relations and Complaints Department (PRCD) and the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Unit (ATIPU), Chief Petty Officer Vincent Gordon, attached to the Coast Guard Service, Sgt. 264 Dwight Matthews, attached to the Police Band and Cpl. 211 Jack, stationed at Stubbs Police Station.

The celebrating officers are the only four remaining officers who were enlisted into the (RSVGPF) on July 15, 1993 from a batch of 20 recruits.

The officers thanked almighty God for guiding them throughout their journey in the Police Force, their families and friends for their support, their fellow training recruits, and all the persons who have contributed to their development and career as Police Officers.

Commissioner of Police Colin O John, the officers and men of the RSVGPF extend congratulations to officers Simmons, Gordon, Matthews and Jack on their achievement, dedication to duty and wish them success in the future.
