The North Windward Carnival Development Committee has announced a series of activities for this year’s carnival which begin today and end on July 14.

The official launch of North Windward Carnival will take place this evening in Georgetown from 7 pm.

Performances will come from Fireman Hooper, Skinny Fabulous, Luta, Rodney Small, Flanka, Skarpyan, Maddzart, Mason, Alla G, Tajoe, Keido, Twixx, Jace, Recka, Stoppalus, Riverside Boys,

Pyne, Young Tal, Jah Brimstone, Prince Swade, Verjal, Rus-T among others.The contestants of the Miss Windward 2018 beauty pageant will make their first official appearance.

The contestants in the Miss Windward 2018 beauty pageant are:

1. Italia Andrews – Miss North Union

2. Sabrina Browne – Miss Chapmans

3. Wallicia Browne – Miss Georgetown

4. Deantai Davis – Miss Biabou

5. Shafiker Hector – Miss New Grounds

6. Nicole Stephens – Miss Magum

The North Windward Carnival Development Committee invites the entire country to its events and hopes for a violence free carnival.
