‘PSU Speaks’ making a come back on Magic FM

Workers across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) can expect the return of PSU SPEAKS, on Wednesday, May 23, starting at 8 p.m., on Magic FM 103.7, formerly known as Hitz FM.

The radio programme hosted by the Public Service Union, which started in October 2016, was abruptly cancelled last February, without any given explanation by the National Broadcasting Corporation.

PSU SPEAKS is a live and interactive bi-weekly 90-minute radio program that addresses a wide range of topics, including pensions, collective bargaining, decent work, promotions and appointments and occupational safety and health.

The Public Service Union, which is currently celebrating its 75th anniversary under the theme “75 years of resilience – moving forward as a stronger public service union”, stands ready to continue to pursue its goals and objectives, as it strive to ensure that the rights of workers are recognized.

PSU SPEAKS is hosted by the Union’s president Elroy Boucher, grievance officer Kenson King and public relations officer Javelle Frank.
