SVG, Palestine sign agreements

The government of St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) has signed four agreements with the State of Palestine.

The agreements were signed on Wednesday at Cabinet Room and touch on the health and agricultural sectors, among other areas.

Present at the signing ceremony were Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves, Minister of Agriculture Saboto Caesar, Minister of Health Luke Browne, non-resident Palestinian Ambassador Dr Linda Sobeh Ali, Chair of Jihad Mohammad Investments LLC Jihad Mohammad, vice-president Jihad Mohammad investments LLC Eyad Abu Ali, Hany Elqutub of Champions Real Estate Group and director-general of the Palestinian International Cooperation Agency (PICA) Imad Al Zuhairi.

The four agreements signed were related to international cooperation, a framework agreement, an agreement on health and an agreement on agriculture.

The Palestinians at the signing ceremony were the leaders of a delegation which included among others, a technical expert in the field of agriculture and seven specialist medical doctors.
