Taiwan donates 35 computers across SVG

Thirty-five computers, donated by the Government of the Republic of China (Taiwan) have been distributed among 18 educational institutions across St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG).

The Asus computers, which were handed over to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Commerce by the Embassy of Taiwan, will serve to improve the delivery of education in the country and further bolster the education revolution.

So said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sir Louis Straker, who welcomed the donation of the computers. He expressed gratitude and appreciation on behalf of the Government for the continued commitment over the years by Taiwan to the sustainable development of SVG and the enhancement of the educational sector.
