ProjectMEN2020 to host events to mark International Men’s Day
ProjectMEN2020 in collaboration with Gender Affairs Division will host a National Menâs Rally and Street Football competition to commemorate International Menâs Day on Sunday, November 19.
The event, which takes place annually, has as the 2017 theme: âCelebrate Men and Boys.â This will take place at the Calliaqua Hard Court starting from 4 pm.
The rally will hear remarks and cultural presentations from different stakeholders including Frederick Stephenson, Minister of National Mobilization etc.
Recognition of outstanding male role models in various fields will be a highlight. There will also be a challenge to the men by Rev. Adolph Davis of the Methodist Church.
Following the rally, the Calliaqua Hard Court will be lit up with street football. Registration forms are available at the Calliaqua Police Station, representatives of ProjectMEN2020 and Gender Affairs Office.
