Finals of Courts OECS Reading Competition postponed indefinitely
The national and regional finals of the OECS Courts Reading Competition have been postponed.
A release from the organizers said regrettably, the finals have had to be âplaced on hold indefinitely, due to the title sponsorsâ need to redirect resources to hurricane-ravished counterparts across the region.â
The release said schools will be further advised on the new date for the national finals, which had been scheduled for Thursday, September 28, and any other upcoming developments.
The Ministry of Education, National Reconciliation and Ecclesiastical Affairs congratulated all schools that participated in the preliminaries of the OECS Courts Reading Competition.
âReports show that most participants performed creditably and the finalists will soon be announced,â the release said.
