FLOW offers free back to school service

Hundreds of school aged children received free eye screening, ear screening, IQ assessment, haircuts, hair braiding and school supplies free of cost last Friday, September 1, thanks to FLOW.

The free services came as part of FLOW’s 4th annual back to school fair, which was held on the company’s Halifax Street promenade and saw hundreds of children receiving free services.

The haircuts and braiding were done in an air-conditioned grooming station by barbers “Etran” and “Sadique” and five hair stylists from the Stylin Chic Beauty Salon.

Marketing and Communications officer at FLOW Nikala Williams said that this year, they introduced a flea market section, where customers were able to get their school supplies and other items needed for back to school.

“A survey was also completed by participating parents, who all lauded FLOW for this initiative and asked for its continuation,” said Williams.

“Things hard so you have no idea how much of a help this is,” commented a happy customer, who like many others, gained access to the services by completing basic transactions, such as $5 top up.
