Posthumous awards to parents of four fallen SVGCC students

A moment of silence was held last Tuesday at the 2017 graduation ceremony of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Community College (SVGCC), when special posthumous awards were presented to the parents of four students who lost their lives during the 2016/2017 school year.

Cariann Padmore, Aziza Dennie and Danee Horne died on January 29, 2017 in Barbados, when the car in which they were travelling had a collision with a bus; Onixcy Hamilton lost his life on December 31, 2016 in a motor vehicle accident at Chateaubelair.
