17 local young pastors graduate from NGPA SVG

St Vincent and the Grenadines recently hosted the National Global Proclamation Academy ((GPAs), a ministry of Ramesh Richard Evangelism and Church Health (RREACH) global proclamation ministry. This event took place from April 20-29, at the Layou Grace and Truth Bible Camp Site and on Saturday, April 29, the academy hosted a graduation banquet at the Frenches House, which saw 17 young pastors receiving certificates of participation from the academy.

They received training in sermon preparation and expository preaching, along with different seminar presentations from four master coaches, on topics such as spiritual fathering, biblical leadership, ministry and family, networking, the personal side of preaching, the pastor and his congregation, the demands of ministry and the marks of a great church.

From 2011 to 2016, RREACH sponsored 49 national GPAs, which have trained 1,220 pastors from 56 countries. Capitalizing on the Global Proclamation Congress (GPro Congress) momentum held in Bangkok, Thailand, June 2016, RREACH has set a goal of conducting 25 national Global Proclamation Academies per year, from 2017 through 2020. The one being held in SVG is the fifth for 2017.

National GPAs are 10-day peer-level training and networking sessions hosted around the globe. They feature esteemed master coaches, primarily from the region, who focus their teaching on two of the three core needs of pastoral ministry — preaching, thinking and living biblically. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for young pastoral leaders from SVG.

Pastoral health is systematically enhanced by better delivery of more pastoral training with coordinated follow-up. Healthy pastors lead healthier churches, and healthier churches are better able to reach their communities for the Lord Jesus Christ.
