PM: Prince Harry’s visit was centred around nature

This country did not seek to make the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales (Prince Harry) a political one and instead based the visit on nature and the environment.

“The visit was done in a dignified manner,” stressed Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves, while speaking to members of the media at Cabinet Room on Monday.{{more}}

The Prime Minister said that Prince Harry’s visit, which took place last Saturday, November 26, went smoothly and he would like to thank all the persons in the State administration who worked hard to make the visit what it was.

While here, Prince Harry visited the Colonarie Beach and its turtle conservation project, the Botanic Gardens – the oldest tropical garden in the Western Hemisphere and the Vermont Nature Trail.

Gonsalves said the Prince also visited the Argyle International Airport (AIA) and was impressed by what he saw.(LC)
