The purpose of the Session is to review the operation and performance of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in St Vincent and the Grenadines during the years 2012-2015, elect directors, install a new executive committee and set the agenda for the Mission for the years, 2016-2020.

Sir Louis Straker, Deputy Prime Minister and 4th generation Seventh-Day Adventist, will declare the Session officially open, after which the spiritual tone will be set by Dr James Daniel, field secretary of the General Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists, Inter American Division. Pastor Dermoth Baptiste, president of the SVG Mission, will present an overview of the achievement of the Church for the period under review.

Dr Kern Tobias, president of the Caribbean Union, will supervise the electoral process, while Dr Abraham Jules, pastor of Community Church in Queens, New York, will deliver plain, practical, powerful soul-stirring messages from the word of God.

The Session is intended to re-focus the Church on its God- assigned mandate, which is to communicate Kingdom values to every living person and re-position its members for total involvement in the building of the body of Christ.
