Up to press time yesterday, no one had been charged in relation to a kidnapping that took place in Calliaqua over the weekend.

He was then forced into an abandoned shed by six men, who had earlier also grabbed a 15-year-old boy.

It is being reported that one of the males escaped after telling his abductors that he would get money for them.

The police detained a number of men for questioning, but released them and up to press time no one had been charged.

Persons in the area are going on the theory that the kidnapping is linked to the disappearance of dancer Kahili Tupac Ollivierre, alias “QQ,” who was last seen at 4:47p.m. on August 4, 2016 at Dougan’s Shop in Calliaqua.

Ollivierre, a resident of Golden Vale/Calliaqua is a 23-year-old dark male with afro hair and brown eyes. He is 5ft 8 inches tall and weighs about 140lbs. (LC)
