NLA launches new app, website

The National Lotteries Authorities (NLA) has launched their new website and NLA application (app), after their website had been down for about a year.

The new website can be found at the URL http://www.nlasvg.com/ and the mobile app can be downloaded directly from a link on the website’s page.{{more}}

“You will be able to source information…related to the National Lotteries Authority,” stated Anthony Dennie, marketing manager at the NLA.

He also noted that gaming information can be found on the page.

“As a matter of fact, the moment you hit our home page, you will be able to view online the latest draw to take place from the National Lotteries Authority.”

Persons who visit will be able to view draw results from the all games, including Play 4, 3D, Lotto and Super 6.

The page also has a live weather update, which, according to Dennie, “is very much important, as we are into the hurricane season in these parts.”

There also specifics on how the games are played and by clicking any one of the games’ brightly colourful icons, users will be taken to game information.

The website also has agent location, with pictures of specific locations for the agents.

“If you want to get a sort of picture as to the physical location, you just put your mouse on the forward button and it just scrolls through our agent locations.”

Persons who use the Android and IOS platform will also be able to download the NLA app to mobile devices and tablets.

The app will have weekly recaps of the draw results and daily draws would be uploaded within a half-hour after the draw has been completed.

Dennie also stated that apart from NLA games, the NLA app and the website will also update the public on community and national projects with which they are involved.

“We’re even having little information…as to not just sport and culture, but things of national development you would see them from time to time on our webpage,” he said.

The development of the mobile app, which started about three months ago, was done internally. (CM)
