The items were handed over at the Salvation Army headquarters by president of the club Kathy Harry and witnessed by vice-president Ezzie Roberts. Major Pierre Antoine accepted on behalf of the Army.

Harry stated: “We are continuing our focus of assisting and sharing with those in need.”

She continued: “We certainly recognize the role played by the Salvation Army over the years and as they continue to do so, we have chosen to make this contribution.”

Major Antoine, on receiving the items, expressed much thanks to the Activities Club of Coreas Hazells Inc for selecting the Salvation Army to receive this valuable donation.

Earlier in this year, similar donations were made to the Liberty Lodge Boys Training Centre and the Guadalupe Home for Girls.
