Students undergo Early Childhood Education training

Ten students from Child Development centres in St Vincent and the Grenadines and others who have an interest in the field of Early Childhood Education, have enrolled in the Vinsave course of training in Early Childhood Education from Monday, April 25, 2016.

Lecturers from various backgrounds, including Early Childhood, Health, Social Work, and Nutrition,{{more}} among others, would engage the students in a number of sessions pertaining to their area of work. The students would also be involved in the newly designed course of Backyard Gardening through the Ministry of Agriculture, as well as Computer Training and Parenting.

The Parent Training programme will see the students in various communities, where they will engage community members in discussions about parenting, share materials and demonstrate practical examples of various materials for work with children.

Students will complete their training in March 2017, after a three-month internship period, following which they will be awarded certificates.

Vinsave has continued to impact in positive ways the landscape of Early Childhood Education for over 50 years.
