Small businesses invited to become part of Brand SVG
A small group of Vincentian food and beverage manufacturers is calling for interested parties to apply for membership.
This group, known as Brand SVG, is dedicated to producing high quality products, with as many local ingredients as possible.{{more}} Its main goal is to provide one another with mutual support in the successful promotion of its various products, while simultaneously reducing SVGâs import bill and aiding in the continued creation of sustainable employment.
Current members include Everdale of SVG, St Vincent Distillers, Mountain Top, Pasta Enterprises Ltd, Searles Agro Products, Frisko Ltd, Ericaâs Country Style, Villamar Ltd and Fred J De Nobriga. Brand SVG has monthly meetings, where it discusses challenges faced, as well as possible opportunities to help small manufacturers thrive.
Companies that are interested in joining should be registered with the Commerce and Intellectual Property Office and also be in compliance with the general guidelines set by the bureau of standards.
