The Business Labs is a one-week workshop that aims to transform imaginative ideas into new viable businesses. It will train 20 potential trainers and mentors to assist entrepreneurs with the business development support and guidance they need in order for their businesses to thrive.

The Business Labs will aid in transforming Intellectual Entrepreneurial Assets (IEAs) into real businesses; offer technical skills and advice in business planning, marketing, and branding; and evaluate existing ventures to identify and pursue new opportunities.

The workshop will also provide participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to assist current and

prospective entrepreneurs on business development.

“Transmitting knowledge and learning by ‘doing experiences’ to qualified personnel in the Business Lab, will guarantee the reproduction of the model,” says a YABT representative. “It is expected that every participant admitted into the Business Lab will utilize the methodology, consolidate it as trainer and carry on the training within their local constituencies.”

This workshop will be facilitated with assistance from partners such as the Organization of American States (OAS), Ministry of MASHAV – Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jerusalem, the Golda Meir Mount Carmel International Training Center (MCTC), and the Centre for Enterprise Development Inc (CED).
