SASVG holds another successful Campfire

On Saturday, February 28, the Scout Association of St. Vincent and the Grenadines held another successful campfire at their Headquarters in Arnos Vale. The Campfire is an annual event which commemorates the birth of the founder of the Scout Movement, Lord Robert Stephenson Smyth Baden-Powell, born February 22, 1857.{{more}}

Troops and packs from several areas had an evening of storytelling, games and songs; then enjoyed roasted sausages and toasted marshmallows done on the dying embers of the campfire.

The Scout Association of St. Vincent and the Grenadines wishes to thank everyone who contributed to making the event a success.

On Saturday, March 7, 2015 the Headquarters of the Scout Association of St. Vincent and the Grenadines was again bustling with activity as the Association held its Annual General Meeting. Special guest and keynote speaker was Committee Member for the Inter American Region, Chief Commissioner of the Scout Association of Guyana, Zaida Joquin. The AGM also saw the election of officers to the Executive Committee.
