While many were celebrating with their families on Christmas Day, the Gregg family of Bequia was mourning the death of their loved one, Dagma Gregg.{{more}}

Dagma, 67 years, reportedly drowned at Hamilton Beach, at about 11:10 a.m. on Christmas Day, December 25.

According to a police report, the deceased was sitting on the shoreline, bathing herself, when she was swept into the water by heavy swells.

Gregg was fetched out of the water by persons in the area and rushed to the Bequia hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

A post mortem examination is to be performed on the body to ascertain the actual cause of death.(KW)
