In 2009, when she was 16, Sweet-I was caught in the crossfire of feuding youths, and a gunshot to her neck paralyzed her and caused her to be confined her to a wheelchair.

A request was made to Coreas by Eloise Gonsalves, wife of the Prime Minister, for Coreas to assist Robertson with the completion of her home. On Monday, July 28, members of Coreas staff journeyed to Fitz-Hughes to hand over approximately 700 sq ft of tiles to Sweet-I.

Debbie Huggins, divisional manager for Ace and ACE2, stated that Coreas Hazells Inc recognises its civic responsibility to help. She further added that the donation would not have been possible without the assistance of one of the company’s suppliers – IBI International AB, a privately owned company established in 1995 in Sweden.

Sweet-I also thanked Coreas for its contribution and invited the visiting party to return to her home.
