Image Modelling Agency to launch Fashion For A Cause Foundation

The Image Modelling Agency has, over the years, been known to use the power of fashion to give to worthy causes. {{more}}

Image has previously given to the Our Lady of Guadalupe Home for Girls, raised funds for the renovation of the Children’s Ward at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, been involved in environmental projects, like the annual Karib Cable Beach Clean-up and assisted with fund-raising for cancer patient Janelle Henville.

Also, the Image male models volunteered to work with the organizers of Liberty Lodge, as mentors and booth managers at their annual fair to rave reviews, both from the boys themselves and the Liberty Lodge staff.

It is for another worthy cause that the Agency has come together again. This time it is to launch the Norma DeFreitas Fashion For A Cause Foundation, in loving memory of the mother of managing director Monique Arthur, who recently passed away.

According to Arthur, “Although Image has been doing less shows of late, due to the commitments of the executive, we come together for the things that really matter to us. Image has always tried to be about more than just surface things and will continue to do so. It would have made my mother extremely proud to be associated with this, especially since Image was formed in her living room in Middle Street.”

The launch of the Norma DeFreitas Fashion For A Cause Foundation, will be at a gala fashion show at Grenadine House on the evening of Sunday, June 22, 2014.

Proceeds from this show will be in aid of cancer patient Monefa Farrell, the cousin of popular long-time member of Image Gary Constantine.
