The convention, which was to have been held on Sunday, December 15 at the Campden Park Secondary School, will now be held on February 2, 2014.

Political Leader of the ULP Dr Ralph Gonsalves told SEARCHLIGHT yesterday that the convention had been rescheduled as a mark of respect for the late Nelson Mandela. Gonsalves said that December 15 is the date set for the funeral of the late President, and everyone will want to look at the event on television.

The theme for the 20th annual convention of the ULP is: “On your marks, forward to the fourth term, let the progress continue.”
