Another Vincentian copped Grammy in 2010

Even before Ray Williams won his Technical Grammy for Excellence in music technology in 2012, at least one other Vincentian had achieved a similar feat.{{more}}

At the 53rd Grammy Awards in 2010, Maurice Williams, son of Yvette Williams, won a Grammy as Soloist on the Grammy award winning recording of “Christopher Tin: Calling All Dawns” in the category of Best Classical Crossover Album.

The song for which he was awarded is “Ransemblons-nous”. It was sung in French.

Yvette Williams is the daughter of the late Frank Williams of New Montrose.
